The red wine Asiram Toscana IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta La Massa has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Provincia Firenze in Italy.
Powerful, vibrant ruby red with a slight garnet shimmer. Very rich and expressive nose, with rich aromas of blackberries and blueberries, followed by notes of dark chocolate and liquorice, with a hint of cardamom in the background. Very sweet on the palate, with ripe dark berry fruit, unfolding in many layers with finely meshed tannins and rich pressure in the finish.
