The red wine Lucente Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, rich purple with a slightly brighter rim. Opens on the nose initially with candle wax and incense, then subtle notes of plum and rich black currant. On the palate, juicy and clear with vivid oak use, it is vigorous and grippy, also smooth, multilayered, and long-lasting, although a bit thin on the finish.
