Dark purple colour with a brightening rim. Subtle nose of spices, later clearly reminiscent of stewed cherries, sour cherries and above all, pickled plums. Somewhat rustic on the palate with tart tannins. Green tannins on the retronasal palate. Somewhat broad. Medium finish.
