The red wine , vintage 2014 from the winery Tenuta San Guido has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Bolgheri in Italy.
Bright ruby with a slight garnet hue. Very clear and fine nose, nuances of raspberries, red and black currants, some earthy notes in the background. On the palate lots of juicy fruit, hints of raspberries and cassis, unfolds with elegant, supple tannins, develops slowly, fresh on the finish, very coherent to the vintage.
