The red wine Fanatico Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Villa Trasqua has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a dark core. On the nose aromas of chestnut honey, fine oak and smoke, are complemented by ripe raspberry and rosehip, with an aftertaste of black tea. The creamy, broad palate has tightly woven tannins and real drive with a slightly rustic finish, a nice Riserva for hearty cuisine.
