The red wine Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Tenute Del Cerro has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense ruby red. Perfumed nose of wild strawberry, ripe fig and rose petal, with some undergrowth on the finish. Shows a lot of fruit and good tension on the palate, crisp freshness and fine-grained tannins. Unfortunately breaks off in the mid-section and remains delicately bitter.
