The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenute Del Cerro has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Deep on the nose, with notes of red peach, peppermint, ripe tomatoes, plus some candle wax and undergrowth. Beautifully juicy on the palate with a balsamic fruit core, compact, slightly rough tannins and a hearty finish with minimal dryness.
