The red wine Blandus Calabria IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Terre di Balbia has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Calabria in Italy.
Dense ruby red in colour with a purple hue and very subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, plenty of mellow plum, followed by some violet and juniper berries. The palate is juicy and concentrated, with ripe tannins, and a spicy finish.
