The red wine Fervore Calabria IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Terre di Balbia has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Magliocco dolce from the region Calabria in Italy.
Shimmering ruby red in colour with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberry and cherry, followed by dark spice. There is a great interplay of fruit and spice on the palate, with distinctive tannins, lively acidity, and a persistent, spicy finish, plenty of ageing potential.
