The red wine Corifeo Barrique, vintage 2017 from the winery Theilervini has been rated in 2021 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
A concentrated bouquet with notes of rum pot and dried dark berries, as well as dried plum, mocha, orange zest and caramel. There's a juicy acidity on the palate alongside bright red fruit with raspberry, sour cherry and redcurrant notes to the fore. Ripe, slightly noticeable tannin sits in the background of the fresh, long finish.
