The red wine Eisenberg DAC Reserve Ried Szapary, vintage 2018 from the winery Thom Wachter has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Eisenberg in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are floral nuances on the nose, along with a red berry touch, and an almost Burgundian aftertaste of raspberry and hibiscus, it is an individualistic bouquet. It is an elegant wine, with a lovely fruit sweetness, well-integrated ripe tannins, and a red berry flavour on the back palate. It is already gluggable.
