Bright carmine red. Intense nose of red berries and cherry, very slightly savoury on the finish. Medium-bodied, shows a bacony undertone, slight reduction. Quite simple and one-dimensional on the palate, with rather strong tannins, somewhat drying and bitter on the finish.
