Powerful, flint ruby-purple. Opens with discreet SAVOURY notes, OF incense and ginger, then rich dark cherries and blackberry. Played up grandiose in the approach, shows emphatically SAVOURY components, then opens with compact, densely meshed tannin, in the finish firm drive, still very young.
