Bright ruby red colour, shiny. Earthy aroma on the nose, with hints of orange cordial, black tea, some marzipan, wood, reminiscent of dried rose petals. Compact, tightly woven and powerful on the palate, with earthy, powerful tannins and a lovely juiciness.
