The red wine Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Vigna di Pettineo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Frappato from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intense, somewhat matte garnet red. Reserved on the nose, notes of fresh sour cherries, marjoram, fresh black bread and loam. Smooth on the palate, ripe tannins, balanced, a warming mouthfeel, mouth-filling, lively, savoury on the finish.
