The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Villa S. Anna has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shimmering cherry red with orange reflections. On the nose, juicy wild berries, raspberry confit, then rose hip, also slightly leathery and bloody. Finely interwoven tannins, opens on overripe fruit nuances, medium weight, with juicy acidity, unfortunately quite bitter and somewhat draining on the finish.
