The red wine Saletta Giulia Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Villa Saletta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby garnet with a slight brightening at the rim. Boiled fruit on the nose, rich plums, quite earthy and lots of graphite. Full-bodied on the palate, juicy acidity penetrates the interwoven but velvety tannins, very broad, somewhat rough and dry on the finish.
