The rosé wine »Pavonero« Primitivo Merlot Rosé Puglia IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Vinicola Cide has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points.
Pastel pink colour. The aromas are also Provence-like: stony, balsamic notes and red berries. Maybe a little more fruit than a Provence rosé: strawberry in particular. On the palate, the wine unfolds some power, the acidity is ripe, but carries the wine well, supported by the body of the wine. Good length.
