The red wine »Premium« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Wachtenburg Winzer eG has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Cortis, Dornfelder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose, cedar, various dark berries, rock flour, bitter chocolate as well as a herbal note. On the palate with attractive acidity and ripe tannins, yet smooth with a good finish. A good accompaniment to rice.
