It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Weißburgunder from the region Nahe in Germany.
Delicate salmon pink. A fruity bouquet: quince, red currant, but also savoury components such as long pepper and liquorice. On the palate, the wine has a dynamic mousse, body, a pinch of substance and rather restrained acidity. More of a food companion than an aperitif sparkling wine.
