The white wine Radebeul Goldener Wagen Veltliner trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinbau Frédéric Fourré has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner from the region Saxony in Germany.
Spontaneous fermentation, apple, almonds, an aroma almost reminiscent of Loire Chenin. On the palate, with ripe acidity, it is surprisingly round and textured considering the low alcohol (11.5%). Subtle phenolics on the finish, an original experiment.
