Tasting Notes
Deep carmine garnet with ochre reflections and a broad rim brightening. Ripe red cherry fruit, hints of wild berries, precious wood nuances and some delicately spiced notes, alongside candied orange zest - no doubt a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, taut and tight-knit on the palate with a core of sweet berry fruit and fine structure thanks to round tannins. There's a chocolatey-rancio touch on the salty finish which shows very good length. Plenty of class and certain ageing potential.
