The white wine Tausend Weiss, vintage 2017 from the winery Weinberghof Fritsch has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Weißburgunder from the region Wagram in Austria.
Light yellow-green with silver reflections. Fine blossom honey on the nose with an inviting bouquet of ripe tropical fruit, delicate hints of chamomile and orange zest. Good complexity, juicy, taut, multi-faceted acidity, mineral-salty with closely meshed yellow fruit nuances and a mango touch. It has a long finish and ageing potential.
