The white wine Tausendweiss, vintage 2013 from the winery Weinberghof Fritsch has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Weißburgunder from the region Wagram in Austria.
Light greenish yellow in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, an attractive bouquet of yellow tropical fruit underlaid with fine blossom honey, subtle notes of peach and a hint of orange zest. The juicy, elegant palate has fine acidity, good complexity, minerality and a persistent papaya fruit and lemony note on the finish. Certain ageing potential.
