The white wine Tausend Weiss, vintage 2008 from the winery Weinberghof Fritsch has been rated in 2011 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay from the region Wagram in Austria.
A green-yellow colour. Subtle biscuit notes, ripe pear, a hint of caramel, yellow apple, multi-faceted. Full-bodied, very elegant, with a creamy texture, a refined extract and sweetness, already very well balanced, with an elegant structure, lingers very well, light-footed, silky smooth, with a strong ageing potential.
