The natural wine Geiersknuck Silvaner, vintage 2022 from the winery Weinbau Ruppenstein has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Smoke on the nose, with roasted chestnut, pear, Mirabelle plum, Reine Claude plum, freshly cut Hokkaido pumpkin and meadow herbs. Good substance on the palate, clear and juicy, firm, supple core, lots of savouriness and good use of oak. Structured and with good drinking flow, it has subtle fruit, elegant phenolics and a beautiful length.
