On the nose, aromas of blossom honey, gingerbread spice, beeswax, hazelnut and red apple, evidence of spontaneous fermentation, the aromas become increasingly spicy with prolonged contact with the air. On the palate, the wine is lean and snappy, but at the same time aromatically rich, with peppery notes revealing the terroir. Almost thirst-quenching with plenty of tension from acidity and (delicate) phenolics.
