Tasting Notes
Menthol, earthy herbal spice, viscous attack, beginning melted fine-grained tannin, which still brings sufficient tension to the soft base, rather closed aroma: more spice than berry. Well-integrated alcohol, plenty of juiciness, seamlessly integrated nerve and great length with a hint of wood at the end. Perfect for a juicy grilled steak.
More about the tastingNettle and damp leaves, some mint, crumbly but not excessively soft on the palate with still slightly persistent tannins, a hint of green tones, good acidity and integrated alcohol. Almost European-northern Italian in appearance, compact structure - but also somehow like with the handbrake on.
