The sweet and dessert wine »AAA« Huxelrebe Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Achenbach, mein Bioweingut has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Initially lactic and estery notes, but they dissipate with air. Also dried porcini mushroom, walnut, passion fruit. On the palate there is good sweetness-acidity interplay, medium viscosity, rounded and honey-sweet on the finish, accompanied by slightly yeasty flavours.
