The white wine »Reserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Aldinger has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Freshly opened and a slight reductive nose with roasted notes, needs more air contact. Great tension on the palate, integrated cedar, apple, almond, fennel and anise nuances with acidic power and yet very elegant. Burgundy comparisons can be annoying, here they are appropriate.
