The white wine »Gipskeuper« Chardonnay VDP Gutswein, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Aldinger has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
On the nose: aromas of white flowers, hay, almond and grapefruit zest. The palate has a lovely juicy tension, fulfilling the mineral promise of "Gipskeuper" with tactile components and herbal-spicy hints, but also maintaining enough suppleness in the background to be able work with a variety of gastronomies.
