Tasting from 14.11.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Spices, notes of caraway, coriander and red apple. Juicy on the palate, full of tension, very mineral, also yeasty, full-bodied, with refined phenolics, good ageing potential, powerful and elegant.

More about the tasting

On the nose: lemon balm and blood orange, but also aniseed, gingerbread, honey and coriander seeds. The palate structure is characterised by a gripping but not coarse acidity, the wine flanks the structure with some texture and also with a pronounced spiciness. Pointed, dense finish, finally with clearly "stony" tones. An enigmatic Riesling, clearly marked by its terroir.
