The sekt »Pinot« brut, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Andreas Diehl has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Delicate nose, red forest berries, strawberry, currant, violet, rose hip blossom, apple peel, orange zest. Fine and elegant on the palate, lively, finely flint mousse, creamy base with a fine sweetness interplaying with savouriness, beautiful length, as an aperitif but also versatile at the table.
