The red wine Ried Gabarinza Bio Respekt, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Andreas Gsellmann has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There are aromas of ripe plum fruit, with chocolate undertones, blackberry confit, and some nougat, it is a multi-faceted bouquet. On the palate it is full-bodied, with a ripe red cherry flavour, fine tannins, a fresh structure, elegance, freshness, good persistence, and some minerality. It is a versatile food wine.
