The red wine »44er« trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Anita Landesvatter has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Spätburgunder, Dornfelder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
On the nose, concentrated fruity aromas with black cherry, blackberry, plum, stewed cherry and wood spice, also a little liquorice. Full-bodied, with ripe dark fruit and spice on the palate, medium substance, underpinned by a ripe acidity. Also goes well with hearty stews.
