It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of lovely black wild berry confit, a hint of amarena cherry, with a discreet tobacco savouriness in the background, and hints of candied violet blossom. On the palate it is velvety and elegant, with a multi-faceted structure, well-integrated tannins, and some red fruit nuances, and it has certain ageing potential.
