The red wine Spezialfüllung Selection Schwander Pinot Noir, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2018 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Ripe pinot noir fruit with notes of cherry and strawberry, as well as the typical oak spice of a German Spätburgunder. On the palate harmonious and elegant with noticeable but well-integrated tannins, and it has a long finish. A pinot that is fun to drink young but can just as easily sit in the cellar for a few years.
