The red wine »SL *Klingenberg*« Großheppach Wanne Syrah trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Bernhard Ellwanger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Roasted coffee and cappuccino on the nose, smoky tones and balsamic savoury notes. Fresh, complex fruit emerges on contact with the air: blueberry and cherry aromas ranging from sour to black cherry, with buttery undertones. On the palate, the wine combines juiciness and fullness, the mellow tannins appear dense but at the same time relaxed on the background of a supple, full body, the fruit develops a slight sweetness on the finish. Finally, tactile mineral sensations remain. Excellent length. Highly elegant and very skilful.
