Spicy aroma, black pepper, hint of clove, plum, blackberry, sweet cherry, mulberry, sloe, dark chocolate. On the palate with powerful, ripe tannins, fine acidity, lots of herbal flavour, mineral thread, excellent structure and length, powerful and balanced.
More about the tastingDark ruby colour. Spicy aroma, black pepper, leather, black cherry, eucalyptus, dark berries, herbal tea, mint and sage. On the palate, the wine immediately develops drive, a fine-grained, ripe, almost fleshy tannin meets fruit sweetness, underpinned by an intense tactile minerality.
