Tasting Notes
Keuper soil herbal notes, subtle wood and a cherry-fruity Lemberger varietal component delineate the aromatics. Also red currant and a hint of iron or blood. A dense palate with fine-grained, malleable tannins, a deft use of wood, enriching and rounding out the structure of the wine, yet restrained and does not dominate the fruit or the grip on the palate. Very good length.
