The white wine »Alte Reben« Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Bicking & Bicking has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
There are aromas of sunflower seeds and lemon balm on the nose, as well as lime, lemon zest, liquorice, and some sea air. On the palate it is firm and dense with nice acidity, lots of muscle, and some maple cordial in the background. It is a serious, confident and persistent wine, and is a contemporary interpretation of the variety.
