The white wine »Alte Reben« Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Bicking & Bicking has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
A very exciting nose with rather unusual components: privet blossom, crushed melon seeds and a light touch of petrol, but without notes of ageing. Taut and cohesive on the palate, it's very dry and with plenty of peppery savouriness on the finish. Impressively persistent.
