The white wine »1G« Appenheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Bischel has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose, initially quite restrained citrus aromas with a hint of zest and green apple, then it opens up and gains momentum. On the palate wet stone and tropical hints, well-integrated acidity, pleasant texture, all very harmonious and balanced with a touch of almond on the finish. An exciting style.
