The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Bischel has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Viscous at the edge of the glass, with golden-coloured reflections. Flint, roasted almonds and vanilla on the nose. Wood vivid, but harmoniously integrated. Noticeable texture on the palate, paired with salt, iodine and again roasted nuts. Subtle pome fruit on the finish. Powerful, phenolic accompaniment to food.
