Tasting Notes
On the nose, there are aromas of smoke and butter, wax, Amarena cherry, including ripe stone fruit, almost with a hint of Amarone. On the palate, however, Markgräfler coolness takes hold with plenty of juiciness, taut acidity and fresh, flawlessly ripe tannins that harmonise wonderfully with the palate fruit.
More about the tastingThe aroma indicates the high ripeness of the grapes: with notes of chocolate, plum, leather and yeasty undertones. In the mouth, the wine is highly concentrated, the dense, taut tannin integrates a hint of positive green tones, chalky-mineral components emphasize the finish.
