The red wine »Bravoure« Schliengen Syrah trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Blankenhorn has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Baden in Germany.
Aroma of blueberry, milk chocolate, sloe, cherry and some green pepper. Attractively mineral on the palate, smoky, dark ripe fruit, well-integrated acidity, fine tannin, quite weighty but always remaining elegant. Long finish.
More about the tastingSpicy nose with roasted aromas, black pepper and cassis with black cherry, still somewhat reductive, gunpowder. Relatively broad on the palate, but also with the necessary tension and good extract, very finely extracted tannins, juicy, spicy, elegant and long.
