The white wine Gundheim Sonnenberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Boxheimerhof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Presented in a Burgundy bottle and with fine notes of mash fermentation, dried apricot, herbs and some wormwood. Taut on the palate, dry, with a vivid acid vein and cultivated phenolics. Not an off-the-peg Riesling, with its own style.
