The white wine »Alte Reben« Abenheim Klausenberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Boxheimerhof has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Very little in the way of primary fruit notes on the nose, but hints of mint, caramel and a gingerbread savouriness instead. On the palate, a grown-up food wine, savoury notes and a completely dry, backbone-giving finish. A clear context wine.
