The white wine Abenheim Klausenberg Pinot Blanc trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Boxheimerhof has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Primary fruit is rather absent on the nose, but the Pinot Blanc scores with plenty of spice between wood tones, dried herbs and a little honey. Elegant and delicately fruity on the palate, it successfully combines ageing and grape character.
