Tasting Notes
Strikingly deep golden yellow in the glass. All the more restrained on the nose, rather deep, notes of cinnamon in combination with herbal earthiness. Flat and by no means sharp acidity in the mouth, no residual sugar, food-friendly and individualistic.
More about the tastingStrong golden yellow in the glass. Candied apricot, pineapple, orange zest, chamomile, sage, wormwood, honey on the nose. Distinctly dry on the palate, slightly viscous, ripe acidity structure, ethereal, beautiful phenolics, mineral savouriness, not a typical Riesling, rather an individual style with depth. A great accompaniment to dishes such as grilled fish on fennel vegetables.
